Catherine tells our students about her mural

Catherine Nelli, a rising senior at Freeman High School, has been busy creating a beautiful mural in our cafeteria.  This is her Girl Scout Gold Award project.  She hopes that it will teach our students about female role models throughout history.  We can’t wait to see the final project in the fall.

It’s been Eggs-citing!

The hens inspect the new run.

Just like our students, chicks grow up and need to move on.  The Ridge chicks will be joining Mrs. Essid’s flock at the end of the week.  Thursday May 31st will be the last day of school for our chicks.  Their special run at BeePasture Farm is almost complete and the older girls are busy doing their inspection of the area to make sure everything is perfect.

Thank you to the Henrico Education Foundation and our PTA for making the Eggs-traordinary event possible.
